Giving Back with the Firework Foundation
I partnered with Katy Perry and her Firework Foundation, an incredible non-profit dedicated to creating opportunities for kids in underserved communities to bring shoe design to life at Camp Firework.
I guided campers through hands-on design sessions where every child got to dream, sketch, and create their own shoe concepts. One of those young designers even saw their idea come to life in production. This was proof that creativity, access, and support can change a kid’s path forever.
It was an honor to share what I know, work alongside Katy, and help spark bold, bright futures for the next generation.
GUATEMALA
Empowering Artisans in Guatemala
I partnered with traditional artisans in Guatemala to help expand their craft beyond men’s footwear by introducing modern design and women’s shoe pattern-making. Together, we blended centuries-old textile techniques with fresh, wearable styles — opening new markets and new possibilities for their families.
By teaching pattern-making for women’s styles and supporting design development, I helped these artisans grow their production, increase income, and send their kids to college — all while keeping their rich cultural craftsmanship alive.

Giving Back with Charity: Water
Clean water changes everything. That’s why giving back to Charity: Water is deeply personal to me. I proudly support Charity: Water not only through my own donations but also through my brand, SELENA SELENA.
A percentage of every Selena Selena purchase goes directly to Charity: Water, helping bring safe, clean drinking water to people and communities around the world. Together, we’re turning every pair of shoes into a ripple effect fueling opportunity, health, and hope where it’s needed most.

LA Mission: Race to Feed
As part of my ongoing commitment to giving back, I volunteer with the Los Angeles Mission’s Race to Feed program, an incredible effort that packages and distributes food boxes for local families who need extra support.
Alongside my community, I help prepare, sort, and pack thousands of meals so that neighbors facing food insecurity can count on fresh groceries and essentials. It’s hands-on, heart-first work, and a reminder that giving back starts right here at home..
